Your privacy is important to us. The Jeremy Wilson Foundation (JWF) respects your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website, www.thejwf.org. Our privacy policy is described below. 

 Information We Collect

We ask for personal information only when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used. We will never sell your information to a third party, and we will never give your information to a third party for permanent use without your permission unless we are required to by law. Your privacy is a priority. 

We receive information you provide to us voluntarily in various ways: by signing up for our email list, purchasing tickets for an event, becoming a subscriber, making a donation, or applying for assistance. Generally, we only collect your name, email, and mailing address information. However, our applications for assistance require users to give us more personal information, possibly including their income, current employment, current financial needs, medical or health-related conditions, and similar information.  You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.

Our website logs all visitors using web browser cookies and uses Google Analytics for statistical tracking. This information is used for internal purposes only and is not shared. Our online donation and store platforms do not store your credit card information. 

We retain collected information only for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

Our website links to external sites that are not operated by the JWF. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, or the information they collect from you. The JWF does not accept responsibility or liability for the respective privacy policies of external websites.  

 Email Communications 

We occasionally send an email newsletter with information that is relevant and of value to the JWF community. You may subscribe, unsubscribe, or manage your preferences at any time. 

 Social Media & Comments 

The JWF uses social networks like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to engage our community in dialogue. On these networks, we abide by the terms and conditions of that website/service, and reserve the right to use those networks for marketing purposes. Comments made on our social media accounts are reviewed and published at our discretion, and through the use of these functions, you accept that the JWF reserves the right to edit, moderate, and re-use comments for promotional materials. Promotions and advertising are not permitted in this medium, and derogatory or hateful speech will never be tolerated.
