Copywriter, Ecova, Inc.
Rachel joined the JWF as a volunteer in 2014, and is honored to take her support to a new level as a board member. After years of nonprofit development and grant management, she currently works in the Marketing & Creative Services Team at Ecova, an energy management and sustainability consulting firm. She enjoys traveling whenever possible, participating in local social justice work, and enjoying music whenever possible– both as an audience member and as a performer with her band, Lagoon Squad.
Rachel has seen firsthand how the JWF answers the call when local artists face medical emergencies. She’s inspired daily by the stories of the clients we have assisted during their recovery, the generosity of donors who make this assistance possible, and our community’s willingness to care for each other when no other safety net exists. She looks forward to exploring new ways to further our mission in the years to come, giving back to the musicians who bring us joy daily.
